OUR STORY

Modern Management User Group Norway (MMUGno) is a non-profit and charitable forum for sharing and exchanging knowledge in the Norwegian IT community, with a focus on Microsoft management, security, and relevant technologies. MMUGno also serves as a platform for organizing conferences, meetings, and workshops, as well as supporting various communities in Norway with resources, assistance, financial support, and account support for different projects. The aim is to promote skill development, networking, and collaboration within the industry through regular activities and engagement across professional environments.

Current Projects
Our team is currently engaged in several dynamic initiatives that bring people together, share valuable knowledge, and promote responsible technology use:

  1. WPNinjas Norway (Workplace Ninjas Norway)
    A community-driven group dedicated to Microsoft’s Modern Management, cloud services, and enterprise security. By organizing meetups, workshops, and expert-led discussions, WPNinjas Norway empowers IT professionals across Norway to share best practices, expand their skill sets, and stay current with rapidly evolving technologies.
     

  2. Nordic Virtual Summit
    A virtual conference that brings together experts and enthusiasts from across the Nordic region to discuss modern IT practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Through keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, the Summit helps participants stay ahead in a fast-paced digital landscape.
     

  3. KidsaFTWAn educational initiative created in partnership with a professional from Barnevernet (the Norwegian Child Welfare Services) as well as colaboration with Barnevakten.no. We’re developing a presentation focused on children’s use of mobile phones, social media, and digital devices. Our goal is to highlight potential negative impacts while offering practical guidance to help parents, educators, and communities foster healthier tech habits for children. Webpage will be up and running, tba. spring 2025. 
     

  4. TBA (Early 2025)
    We have an exciting project on the horizon for early 2025. Details are still under wraps, so stay tuned for updates as we continue shaping this new initiative.
